Hands Make for Happy FamiliesBetter Homes and Gardens, February 2005This national magazine had an article about the value of massage for "...soothing sore muscles, rubbing away stress and strengthening family ties." It suggested that massage is good for the whole family and provides advice on how and when to offer massage to family members. Massage Therapy of Oak Park owner, Rick Halle-Podell, was quoted under the section entitled "5 PM – De-Stress in the Afternoon." Rick explained that a foot massage "...is the way for the whole family to make emotional connections and give time and attention to one another expressing love; massage is another way to communicate... you're sending a nice message with your hands." |
