| Licensed Massage Therapists in the State of Illinois |
|
The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) requires that its professional members graduate from a minimum 700 in-class-hour massage therapy training program, earn continuing education credit and uphold the AMTA Code of Ethics. These same requirements, in addition to passing a competency examination, are required to secure a license and practice massage in Illinois under the Illinois Massage Licensing Act. As licensed massage therapists within the state of Illinois and members of the AMTA, Massage Therapy of Oak Park is able to effectively reduce chronic pain, alleviate stress and help clients connect with their own healing potential. |
